We are so excited to announce that Oswego Future is back and better than ever! Our feeder basketball program is fully supported by the Oswego High School Panthers, and our partnership with the OHS program, their coaches, and facilities will continue unchanged. Future Basketball recently merged with OPYB and will be absorbing their entire program for the 2017 season. Moving forward all Future players will be powered by Breakaway Basketball, the largest skill development company in Illinois servicing over 6,000 players while partnering with over 100 travel teams during the season to provide skill development training.
Teams are forming for next fall! Join our newly established email list to learn more – we will forward information about this exciting basketball opportunity throughout the offseason.

Fall 2017: Oswego Future boys and girls teams begin. We are pushing for 2-3 teams per grade level (combined 3rd & 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th.)
Team Sites: All Breakaway practices will be held at the Community Sportsplex. Our in season team practices will be held at Oswego High School. Practices will be on a consistent night of the week for both Breakaway and team.
Season Details: Our season runs from October through early March. Every team will have 2 practices per week, tournament game play on Saturdays or Sundays, and custom Under Armour uniforms. The greatest benefit to your child’s development will be the clinical team training provided by Breakaway Basketball. Coaches from Breakaway Basketball will run 1 of the 2 weekly practices in an effort to train both players and volunteer coaches for the FUTURE.
Our Home Court: The facility is called the Community Sportsplex and is located at 24035 W Riverwalk Ct Plainfield, IL 60544. It is right off of RT 126 and RT 59. This facility has 4 unbelievable courts, a lounge/reception area, and a top notch concession/dining area. This will be the premiere place to play in Illinois. Our current agreement with the Sportsplex is set for weekend tournament/league play through the Breakaway Basketball Association (BBA) and 1 night of skills training run by Breakaway head coaches. In addition we have 1-2 practice courts M-F from 4:30-9:30 throughout our season (late sept-early March).
